“Chose this property for the proximity to a family wedding, but so glad we did. The accomodation is pure luxury, extremely comfortable, well equipped and with amazing mattresses for a fabulous nights sleep. You are set in the country but with easy access to visit numerous places easily. You can sit and enjoy watching the birds and wildlife. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating and have made a wonderful place to stay. Highly recomend. Thankyou.”

We found Jasmine Cottage very well setup and comfortable for our stay, with Angela quick to respond when a few queries for us came up. Local amenities extremely handy, in addition to being a well placed location for trips into York city centre.”

“The communication for this rental was excellent. Every facet of the apartment was explained in a well-crafted binder with useful information about the city, transportation, appliances, etc. Great host, would definitely stay again. (Just note there is no laundry).”

“Nice clean cottage in a small village up a hill with several walking routes starting from or passing your front door (check Komoot). Large box filled with information about the neighborhood. Interior is a bit outdated but matches the rental fee. Easy contact with host. Great wifi for the kids One suggestion: install flat ceiling lamps in kitchen and hallway to prevent (tall) people from bumping into them and accidently breaking them...”

“Very nicely renovated historic property. Fantastic for a family getaway after Christmas. Easy access in to the town center. Plentiful hot water. One observation is that the kitchen was cold/drafty and as we visited in winter this was particularly noticeable. The door to the main bathroom doesn’t close properly but did not impair our usage of the bathroom. Overall a wonderful stay!”

“Lovely house in a brilliant location, close enough to walk to attractions yet quiet. We loved the conservatory- kept beautifully warm by the kitchen range, though cooking with the range was tricky and we didn’t discover the microwave until the final day! Clean and functional, daughter loved the attic room and en-suite! Thank you for a good stay”

Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property.
