“Staying at this property was truly an incredible experience. My wife and I (American tourists visiting Japan for the first time) stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was so friendly, especially the wonderful staff in the 6th floor restaurant. Our room, a 12-tatami was spacious and comfortable with a great view of the lake and mountains. Each room comes equipped with everything you need to make green tea and wake up with the sun. The 6th floor restaurant boasts views of Mount Fuji on a clear day...

“Excellent location and very clean accommodations. This ryokan is just around the corner from the famous bell tower, beautiful warehouse (shopping) area and candy alley. The bath is not in your room, but you reserve your time, so it’s private. The breakfast was extraordinary!”

“歴史を物語る建物、趣向を凝らした内装、可愛らしいタイルばりのお風呂、トイレなど、一泊ではありましたがのんびりと満喫させていただきました。 お部屋色の朝ご飯も素敵でした。 スタッフの皆さんにも、大変気持ちよく接していただきました。 後日友人に話したところ、急遽別の館に泊まったそうでこちらも大層評判でした。 今まで泊まれる事を知らずにいましたが、たまたま友人のSNSで知りました。 都内在住でこんなに素敵な場所があるとは、もっと早く気づけばと思い、悔やんでおります。 コロナ禍で一時休業と伺いましたが、再開の折にはまた伺えるのを心待ちにしております”
