Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.”

“The cottage itself was beautiful. Clean, tidy and well looked after. You must buy from their online shop ! The location is a bit out of the way for some but only a short drive to everywhere else. Just be mindful about going out of season as things will be closed. We, & my fur baby, loved the peace and quiet and the feel of the cottage. A must is Welly boots in the winter.”
