“We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. We were desperate so we stayed but if we had of had another place close we would have definitely left. I'm sure it wouldn't meet sanitation codes if checked. We...

Although it is off-grid it does have a mini fridge, A/C and a normal toilet (the toilet is located in it's own building attached to the main bedroom but is private and not inconvenient at all). The VRBO is on the owners land but is still secluded and very peaceful.
