Loved the place. Surrounded by palms and birds singing. They brought continental breakfast to my room each morning. Loved the wood burning stove. You definitely need a car to stay here. One of my favorites, in this three week trip

Definitely nice for some days, but difficult with high humidity. Nice staff and cute breakfast in a Little Red Hiding Hood basket. The variety could be wider, but was definitely nice. The bed was way to soft, could be many stages harder. WiFi was working properly, water is potable, kitchen equipment is good. We had some rainy days, so the tent and our clothes did not dry properly, the towels were wet all the days. That's definitely a downside. Expect to be up at 7.00/7.30 in the morning when you hear the dogs, cows and other animals. We did not use the community room, they have books and games for rainy or boring days.

Dit was één van de accommodaties op onze ontdekkingsreis van de Azoren waar we het meest naar uitkeken. Onze verwachtingen werden overtroffen! Te beginnen met hosts Pedro & Antónia die er alles aan doen om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De tent zelf was fantastisch: proper, voorzien van een ijskast en zalig gelegen tussen de palmen. Het voelde als buiten slapen. Elke avond kregen we kort na zonsondergang bezoek van een uil die zich door de palmen rond onze tent bewoog. We vreesden ook bezoek te krijgen van muggen, maar die waren er gelukkig niet (de tenten zijn voorzien van een klamboe voor het geval ze er toch zouden zijn). Het ontbijt wordt elke ochtend in een mandje klaargezet aan je tent. In de mand zit een briefje waarop je kan aanduiden wat je de volgende ochtend wenst. Ruime keuze en ideaal om verspilling tegen te gaan. Er is een grote supermarkt (Continente) op enkele minuten rijden.

Außergewöhnlich schöne Unterkunft mitten in einem Palmenhain, sehr leckeres Frühstück, das jeden Morgen direkt vor das Zelt gestellt wurde. Die Eigentümer sind sehr zuvorkommend und setzen auf einen sanften Tourismus (kleine Anlage) und ökologische, einheimische Produkte. Alles Top, wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Wir haben es geliebt, geschützt und ruhig in grüner Natur eingebettet zu wohnen. Es war für uns das Paradis. Kurze Wege zum Flughafen (ca. 10 min) und auch 10 min nach Horta zu Restaurants und Supermarkt, sowie die sympathische Umgebung waren für uns ideal. Zu dem waren wir unseren fürsorglichen Gastgebern sehr dankbar: Pedro warnte uns rechtzeitig vor der Gefahr des auf die Azoren zurollenden, gefährlichen Hurrikans „Lorenzo“, so dass wir uns rechtzeitig neue Abflüge besorgen konnten. Er hätte uns aber auch ein sichereres Ausweichquartier vermittelt. Man fühlt sich hier gut aufgehoben. Alles andere — zum tollen Frühstückskorb zum Beispiel — muss ich nicht wiederholen. Wir werden ganz sicher die Azoren bei unseren weiteren Urlaubsplänen fest im Blick haben. Und vielen Dank nochmal für die angenehme Begegnung!

Couldn't be happier with our stay here. Antonia and Pedro were very friendly and accommodating (Antonia even arranged gluten free breakfast options for me, which was an unexpected surprise). The breakfasts provided are huge and the quality is fantastic. Having a rental car is highly recommended.

Wat hebben we enorm genoten van ons verblijf bij Pedro en Antónia op de Glamping. Een uniek sfeer. Huisjes/tenten temidden van een soort jungle aan palmbomen en enkele andere soorten bomen en planten. Van alle gemakken voorzien en heerlijke bedden. Het ontbijt is super lekker en verrassend. Pedro heeft excellente tips voor restaurants en excursies in de omgeving. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte is erg gezellig en het gemeenschappelijke dakterras heeft mooi uitzicht en relaxte ligbedden. We kunnen een verblijf bij Azul Singular van harte aanbevelen.

Sehr orginelle Unterkunft in einem Palmenwald. Man fühlt sich ungestört und mitten in der Natur. Die Bauweise ist sehr gemütlich aber ohne besondere Dämmung. Bei kaltem Wetter kann mit einem Pellet-Ofen zugeheizt werden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This glamping spot, set amongst mature palm trees in a palm tree plantation, far exceeded expectations. We stayed in a safari tent for two nights, and wished we could have stayed for a few extra nights. The setting is gorgeous and tranquil. The tent was equipped with tons of comforts, including the most comfortable bed we experienced in the Azores. Each morning a lovely, thoughtful breakfast was delivered to us. The friendly owners have clearly poured their heart and soul into this special place, and have added tons of special details that make this place really stand out. Stay here! You won’t be disappointed!

Fabulous glamping

Outstandingly clean and well built cabins/tents located about halfway between the airport and Horta on Faial. The architecture is thoughtful and the cabins are very cosy. The breakfast they provide is superb — bread, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, cereal, cheese, sometimes even pastries. Pedro and Antonia are super nice and were attentive to our needs, providing an early breakfast on the day we went whale watching. Occasionally the hot water would run out, but not often, and we noticed that they checked our water tank daily, sometimes more. Would certainly stay again!

Very pretty and unique place with very good hosts! Pedro and Antonia are so welcoming, generous and easy going. This was the highlight of our 2 weeks trip to azores islands! The room is perfect, very privative, with everything you need. Very comfortable too! I recommand!!
