“Nicely decorated. Perfect location-short drive to North Shore attractions! Stocked with everything needed for stay, including beach gear, cooler and eating in. Bed rests well. Easy access to direct beachfront with gorgeous sunrise views. Although no AC, there are multiple fans and a breeze off of the ocean. Host was quick to respond. Clear instructions on checking in for key. Carts available to assist with load and unloading. Safe area, but pleasantly surprised of roaming security at night.……

“The one star rating for communication is for the reservation foul up which was not the fault of the Ala Moana staff, they were amazing! Unfortunately, not booking through the hotel directly caused so much unneeded stress. I paid a lot of money before arriving and once at the hotel they had no reservation for me so I had to pay for another room through the hotel directly. I was fortunate the hotel wasn't fully booked.
