A queen size bed, close proximity to the beach, shopping centers at your doorstep, floor to ceiling windows and lanai is a hard to beat combination for a perfect vacation condo! After a full day of exploring Ala Moana's urban grid, you can wind down on the wide lanai, or melt into the comfort of your very own cloud-like bed for a full recharge tomorrow. The Ala Moana Condo is located just a few steps away from the building the Ala Moana Shopping Center, the Hawaii Convention center, Ala Moana Beachpark, and Magic Island. There are several bus stops near the Ala Moana Condo. There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby to explore Honolulu. The Ala Moana Condo building offers a pool, gym, sauna, mini shop, and even Starbucks, at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in the Ala Moana area. Guests may leave their trash right outside their doors for Housekeeping to remove and dispose of. Please place any and all trash in bags that will not leak or cause damage to the hallway carpets and walls. Important!! \*Every single guest needs to pay Daily Resort fees ($30 x #of nights), and Key Issuance Fee ($50). Tax is exclusive. This payment is for Ala Moana Hotel. These fees are included in the total amount. By paying these fees, you may access the hotel pool, sauna, and gym. However, it does not permit access to room service or any other hotel services. !!IMPORTANT!! The exterior works project of Ala Moana Hotel Condo began. The check-in experience felt a bit impersonal, but the room itself was clean, practical, and comfortable. The unit is labeled ADH and has an automatic door opener, which is helpful for wheelchair users, though the bathtub is standard and not fully ADA-accessible. The room had more amenities than a typical hotel room, including a microwave, real dishes, and utensils, which made meals easy. The bed was comfortable and the room size was decent. Because it’s ADA-accessible, the room is next to the elevator, and elevator noise was noticeable at night and early mornings (more like white noise, but worth noting for light sleepers). There was no daily housekeeping, but supplies like extra towels and toiletries were provided, and we didn’t lack anything. The location is excellent—easy access to Ala Moana Shopping Center, Foodland Farms, Don Quijote (24 hours), restaurants, and public transportation. We used the bus for everything and found it very convenient. The property was in an ideal location and close to many restaurants and beaches. The room was very clean and the hotel it was in was very nice. Access to the amenities was appreciated. Perfect location right next to Ala Moana Center. Only a 9 minute walk to the beach. This is my second time at this property using VRBO/Lei Hawaii Realty.. I read rules. I thought it unfortunate that the rule about wearing no shoes in the unit was not in the listing. Not a big deal but it should be listed. There was no dish soap in the unit so I purchased some. It’s was amazing to have a Starbucks downstairs too . Lots of things to do. Check in and out was super easy.
