“Perfect place to be close enough to traverse city but away from the congestion. Quiet and a short little walk to get to a beach. Very relaxing stay”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Loved being right on the Lake. Super quiet and relaxing town. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave were nice to have available. Would stay again when in the area. Feels like "old Michigan"! Charming and quaint and not overrun with people.”

“My room appeared clean, but upon closer ins0ection, it most definitely was not. Found an acrylic press on nail (used) under the chair, the toilet had pee all splashed under the lid. You can tell it was just lightly wiped down - not actually cleaned properly. I am a clean freak and cleaned the shower before using it, and the washcloth was dingy/discolored after I cleaned it.”

“Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. We ended up checking out two days early because of a change in our work schedule. I only requested a refund for the one unused night, and both Expedia and the front desk initially indicated that this should be possible, pending management approval. After a long process, management ultimately refused the refund. That was extremely frustrating and left a very poor impression. There were also several issues with the room and property. The jetted tub……

“This lodge was absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and everything was thought of. Beach towels, and beach chairs were provided which added a nice touch because I forgot to bring my own. Will definitely be back for another stay.”

“This is a clear cut resort stay. Not the most modern but if you're looking for a quiet place with more than just basic amenities then this is your place. The room has more than average space and is cozy. This is a great place to come back to after you've checked out the local restaurants and scenery.”

“Older hotel that is dated with smaller rooms but clean; firm comfortable beds, only two floors and quiet, Ample parking and breakfast. No hot eggs or meat tho. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Convenient location with a little mini golf park next door. Would stay again:)”
