“Cozy apartment with dry kitchenette. Property description failed to mention that it is an upstairs apartment. The stairs are quite steep for older people or people with mobility issues. Host is extremely responsive.”

“Main reason for the 4 stars is the non-functioning Mini-Split style Air-Conditioning units. The host/property management had installed two window A/C units, so we give them credit for that and that there was A/C in the unit. However these are simply obnoxious in noise and (strong) blowing cold air. Unit was clean and bright, nicely accommodated. “Great location for the national park and state park and a day trip to Chicago. Was not happy with the host of the house. Upon arrival the house had unlocked windows, ripped blinds on both sides of house, trash from last guest, dead bug, towels were folded wet not damp but wet. Broken fence panels in yard and we paid a pet fee and picked this house for the back yard. Storm damage had the gazebo upside down in side yard. Trash on floors upstairs and downstairs.
