“This community is in development and will become something special in the future. Right now, it is bare bones. The cottage we rented was clean and basic, but many of the items need replacement or repair (kitchen table, bed headboard, swivel chair). There are no extra blankets; only a duvet for the bed and a sheet for the pull out sofa bed. Additionally, the kitchen had nice appliances but was missing a toaster and only 1 dish towel and 2 diswasher pods (we bought more since we stayed 3 nights)....

“If Harry Never Met Sally, was a beautiful place. It was well maintained, and very clean with exception of some dust on shelves and in some cabinets, other wise it was spotless. The check in process, was easy. The staff at Heritage Harbor reached out and sent emails with amenities available so we would be ready to go when we got there. “My husband and I rented this adorable cabin as part of our anniversary get-away. We loved everything about our stay! Very clean, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of comfy placed to relax and situated in an adorable resort to take walks in. After a great day of hiking at Starved Rock we had dinner at the restaurant right on site...the food was excellent and the view was beautiful. Wouldn't have changed a thing!!!”

“The location and setting are wonderful! Very quiet, lots of paths to walk on, great views of river and marina, restaurant and entertainment on site. The house is comfortable and cute. “This house was very nice. The pool area was the biggest hit for the family. Love the size of pool, the easy in and easy out in the shallow end. There are plenty pool toys and towels supplied. Hot tub was very relaxing. Kitchen and bathrooms have plenty of supplies. ”

“We loved being right on the water and watching the bardges go by. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and 1 of the TV's didn't work. But having a kitchenette meant we could make our breakfasts and snadwiches before going for hikes. We've already talked about staying again, but maybe a different cottage. ”
