Not to mention, the distance for good hiking from our cabin was only 5-7 minutes to Matthiessen State Park and also Starved Rock. “Great little place. We stayed early in the week to hike starved rock so there was not a lot of action in the resort. We were a little bummed the blind wouldn’t stay up in the loft and there was no needle on the record player. That’s not enough to keep me from giving it a good review though. Would stay again. ”
