“Morgan was great to communicate with ! She was prompt in getting back to us with any questions. We were able to check in early which was a huge help with kids aged 3mo-3yrs. The property is homey and inviting with a great deck and fire pit. Inside, there was plenty of space we could enjoy together as a family, as well as separate areas to accommodate early bedtimes and chatty night owls. I highly recommend staying here! ”

“It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! “Clean modern cabin with all the little things you need. The kitchen area has enough appliances to make meals, and there is a vacuum and fan in the living area. The peace and quiet was amazing and took a little time for this city girl to get used to. I ran into deer just hanging out on the trail to my cabin. I will recommend to anyone who wants to go about 50% rustic, with a cabin with electricity, but can live without full plumbing.”

The only bad part of this trip was the pot holes on the county road, we just drove around them best we could. We will be back again!”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great landing spot within quick driving distance of so many hiking trails, beaches, and waterfalls that we couldn’t find time to see them all! Also a quick drive to town where you can find anything you might need. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. The yard was a nice place to relax around the fire at night and watch the stars. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely return. ”

“My husband & I had a wonderful stay. Our week just flew by. The house is very clean & very comfortable. The property is private, peaceful & very relaxing. We had almost daily visits from a mother deer & her twins. We also got buzzed many times by the hummingbirds. Catherine lake is absolutely beautiful!
