“Big Canoe in itself an overall top experience. Safe, peaceful and secure. Driving to "The Nest" scenic and nature laced. When we arrived to the location the surrounding area and view awaiting beat expectations. The cabin made for two was clean, had all that one needed, and the floor to glass windows allowed the view to be experienced from kitchen to bedroom. Though all above 5 star, the real star of this property was the outdoor decks. There is an upper and lower deck and both provided a view……

“Wow!! This stay was beyond my expectations. I came to have a quiet, peaceful 40th bday and that’s what I got! We did not spend much time inside because the property is so amazing. Watched movies at night on the smart tv in living room (only tv). The porches were another fav spot. You can hear AND see the falls from there, front door and windows. It’s gated inside a church camp so there was a lot of privacy. We felt like we had the waterfall to ourselves. Took a ton of pictures and made many……

“This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. The sun room was PHENOMENAL. Loved that we had access to a paddleboat and fishing rods. The vinyl record player and selection were also great additions to creating good vibes.We both loved our stay here. Would come back. ”

“Deer outside every morning and night was awesome. Couldn’t use fire pit outside because of dry windy weather. Very cute and clean cabin. Perfect for our family of 5. Except there is only one shower. Two bathrooms one downstairs has shower sink and toilet. The one upstairs has only toilet and sink. The downstairs bathroom has heated floors which is awesome but it’s small so the positioning of the toilet nd sink is akward. You can rest your chin on the sink while you sit down to pee. ”

“This wonderful and cozy property exceeded all expectations. Very pet friendly and the home has everything needed to immediately feel at home for both the humans and their pets. The owner was outstanding and responsive to every need, including delivering wood for the fire ring personally on Thanksgiving day! Every pet need facilitated including dishes, toys, large fenced yard, leashes, etc. Close to Ellijay attractions and downtown, also great hiking and local adventures. Will be our first……
