Clean, nice staff, great location, new TVs, refrigerator and microwave in room. It is an older property with some peeling paint and old fixtures, but for a 2 star hotel, it was good. We didnt eat the breakfast. There were plenty of coffee shops and restaurants near by, as well as SMSU.

Found hair on the bed. Otherwise room was pretty clean. The front of the building by the entrance is falling apart. The pool could used a good update(rust or whatever on the steps). The walls in the pool and spa room are peeling. Breakfast was good for a hotel, breakfast eating area pretty small. The back door did not lock like it should I didn’t need my key card to get in. Security concern maybe?

I go to check in at a hair past 3:00PM and the girl at the front desk was on her game! She said that housekeeping was finishing up our rooms and it would be a minute or 2 before I could go to them and we chatted about our dogs and kids and our rooms were done by the time we finished chatting. Very pleasant check in.
