“My husband and I recently visited Florida for our anniversary and stayed here for 8 nights. The house is spacious. It is a little dated, I know that will matter to some but that didn’t bother us. The pool was a great feature, we didn’t even adjust the temperature because the weather was so hot when we were down that the temp felt perfect and was still refreshing. The house is stocked with basic necessities; towels, extra sheets, blankets, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. My sister and niece came……

“House was perfect for all of us to find our happy spots. Pool, hot tub, waterside, shady seats -- all used. Sunsets were great and walked daily to Rotary Park for fun or weekend activities. Area and house are still being rebuilt from Hurricane, but it didn't hamper us much (one nearby restaurant was still closed). Recommended!”

Coming from Toronto this allowed for a direct flight vs many layovers. A quick drive from the airport with nothing you could need in between. The property was as expected. “Master bedroom on ground floor is perfect. Quiet corner lot. Lots of space for everyone. Love the bikes and extras provided in the gargage. Owner is very responsive! Only 2 notes...first hot tub is only on certain hours unless requested and second no binder for favorites, instructions, etc. Wonderful property and great stay!!”

“We had a fabulous week at this lovely home. It is spacious with comfortable furnitue and room to spread out. However, we spent all of our time on the lanai enjoying the water view and the pool. We never even turned on a tv. So relaxing!! The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable! We rented a boat for 3 days and it was easy to dock at the house and so much fun driving through the canals and out to the river! It was great having a large yard to take the dogs out. We would definitely stay……

“We had a very nice stay at the tiny house! (Keep in mind, it is tiny) But very comfortable!! An unique experience and the property was outstanding compared to all the other units in the vicinity. It had a nice spacious canal front deck, and kayaks with a launching deck. Complete mini kitchen and great coffee preps. The beds were very comfortable and unit was very clean and updated. Decorated nicely! Loved the loft! Great alternative to a hotel room. We would definitely stay at Matlacha Tiny……

“Overall good customer service, however the place hasn’t recovered from the storm yet fully that’s apparent. Although not a big deal to me but did see a few cockroaches around the property, including one in my room. ”
