“This hotel was amazing, staff was friendly and attentive the establishment was clean and welcoming, the air conditioning was great! Pascal, our waiter was the best. The continental breakfast is superb unlike no other. If you need a place to stay in Matera this is it!”

“The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.”

“The room was very clean and tidy. It was also spacious and high ceiling, making my stay very comfortable and relaxing. The bed and facilities were all well kept and looked new. “We did a self check in, but Eleanor’s had reached out to us in advance of our arrival and was very helpful with questions we had when we arrived in town. She made herself available via WhatsApp. She had suggested a public parking lot that was very close. Because of a ztl we could not drive right to the hotel. Parking was a 2 minute walk. The hotel was quiet and clean. There was both an elevator and stairs in the hotel. We stayed in a beautiful cave room that was amazing! The location was……

“A restaurant is exactly downstairs of our room, so it was quite noisy in the night time from the guests sitting outside of restaurant. Also there was a few second noise from the electric box of the room every minute when we turned on the air conditioning. The location of room is very good, walking distance to Matera old town. We really enjoy to stay at Matera.”
