The hotel was clean and fairly quiet at night. The front desk staff person was complaining about being the only person at the front desk to customers and was on the phone with a friend chatting while people were waiting, then she said she'd better get off the phone because there were a bunch of people in line, then took a while longer to get off the phone.

Having a restaurant attached was very nice could relax and not need to drive for dinner. The food was good and reasonable price, friendly atmosphere

I rented a room here because we stayed about a year ago and really enjoyed it, and I wanted to sit in the hot tub, my sole purpose for getting a room, only to find out when we got to the pool roomthat the hot tub was out of order and was for both nights that we stayed, and the front desk clerk didn't seem to think it was important information to pass along. Housekeeping is lacking very badly, not sure if it's a matter of not enough staff to clean but it was much dirtier then last time we were there. I brought my own disinfectant wipes & started cleaning before it crossed my mind to take before & after pictures. Not sure I can post them with this review, if I can & can figure out how to then I will do so. So with the hot tub out of order I thought I'll make lemonade(so to speak, lol) with my lemons, and went back to the room to have a hot bath, only to find the hot water did not get very hot. I realize they have to follow guide lines/orders made by city inspectors, but the sink in the bathroom ran way hotter than the tub, so backwards. I'd say it's more dangerous to have the sink running so hot. Children go to use the bathroom & wash their hands on their own, but more often than not the parent runs the bath water to make sure of the temp & depth, but rarely does a parent trail behind their child to make sure they don't get burned while washing their hands. I was greatly disappointed in the condition of the hotel & the housekeeping & there were a few other things as well.

We booked this hotel fairly last minute and decided to go with it for cost purposes. This can be a good decision or not a great decision - in this case it felt like an in between. The property appears to be getting some updates, but the rooms could use some updating and/or deep cleaning. The pool was cold and the hot tub jets did not work. The first room we were given was not actually cleaned so we were moved to the first floor. The staff was nice and accommodating. The breakfast was just fine and the attached restaurant was really nice to have. If you’re on a budget, this place is fine - but I would stay the $20-$30 more per night per room and stay somewhere else.

The restaurant, pool, and hot tub were great! No staff at the desk so you stood and waiting. The heater woke everyone up at 730 with the ticking.

When I checked in, my room was very dirty. There was literally feces on the toilet. I called and after a bit they sent someone to clean it. Then I noticed dog hair on the beds… ish. I’ve stayed here before and it was fine. Must have had some poor cleaning people lately.

We went for a quick getaway to relax.Found out that when we got there the hottub was out of order until the day before we left.Also our room was very noisey at night,there was a loud humming noise,like a motor running above our room.

The room was clean. Having an elevator is very handy when they put you on the second floor and the place is pretty empty! 😂 Breakfast eggs were cold. Sausage not fully cooked. AC was on in Breakfast room and it was freezing. Did I mention that this was in our cold December in Minnesota?

Hello Shayla, Thank you for the review, After Reviewing the situation, we seen that you had left the room, & left the keys inside the room, When we entered the room it was clear that you had been smoking in the room, Evident to the pictures we have of them lying in the floor. The 100.00 Charge was for the excessive cleaning fee, for the room being left in an excessively dirty condition, also evident of the pictures and videos. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

I liked this motel. THe beds were confy and so were the pillows. THe blankets were nice. Good bar and restaraunt connected to motel. Good variety at breakfast in the motel breakfast room. Which was free. I will stay again for sure if in this area again.

The hot tub temperature was that of a pool. The pool temperature was freezing and not swimmable. A shane because the pool area is nice and big and would be great if properly heated.

Staff is very friendly and they have a great breakfast. Pool is great not to many people in there at once. Me and my daughter had the whole pool to ourselves! This place is better than the Ramada Inn nearby.

The bathroom sink didn't drain properly, and the safe was locked and unfunctional. Also, only a few of the hot tub jets were functioning and those exuded very little water pressure. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Staff was great. Property is getting old. The shower didn't work as the pull was missing. It also had black grit that collected after emptying the tub. Beds were very comfy and the room seemed nice. Breakfast was so/so. Powdered eggs and the coffee wasn't hot.
