"My wife and I stayed at the hotel on March 14 and were shocked by how security treated her. While I went briefly to the car with our room key, my wife was sitting in the lobby waiting. Around 11:33 p.m., security approached her, questioned if she was a guest, and called her “loitering” because she didn’t have the key. She gave our room number (1960), yet two officers, including supervisor Phil Fisher, cornered her and threatened to have her removed. When I returned at 11:38 p.m., we showed the key and confirmed we were guests, but they still said they would file a report claiming she was giving attitude. She was quiet, not bothering anyone, and no other guests were questioned. My wife is Hispanic and has an accent, and being singled out felt harassing, intimidating, and discriminatory. We tried to complain to management, but were told security issues are not handled, and the supervisor involved came down to “address” it. This was humiliating and unacceptable. We expected professionalism and respect, but instead my wife was harassed and embarrassed in the lobby of the hotel we were paying to stay at. Never experienced anything like this."
