Lovely views of the mountains from our room and common area windows. Stylish lounge area with grand piano and large screen TV. Great location on the main plaza with easy access to many ski rental shops, ski pass purchase, ski lessons, restaurants, pubs, cafes, supermarket. Hotel is attached to large underground parking garage. Everything you need for a ski weekend.

I loved the Mountain Hotel. Breakfast was amazing, the staff very attentive, the public areas are beautiful and very comfortable and it has the best views in Sierra Nevada. My only criticism is that there are not balconies in the bedrooms and the rooms are a bit basic but the shower was the most powerful I have ever used. Overall I loved the experience and I will be back.

Fantastic location for easy access to the ski slopes and the main underground carpark. We arrived on opening day of The Mountains Hotel (formerly The Ziryab). It now has a beautiful new reception, bar and dining room with great breakfast buffet. Rooms are still old spanish style but spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable.

Not as good as we expected
We were disappointed that the bar was not open until next season and there was no evening meals available. We realise that there is no restaurant as such but previously we have had good bar snacks in this hotel. We did not find the beds very comfortable. We far preferred the sister hotel the Trevenque.

Well located hotel in Sierra Nevada
Lovely to back at the Ziryab after Covid. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Ths is one of the best located hotels in Sierra Nevada, and even has it's own ski lockers below the lifts. Very useful indeed.

Un avis assez contrasté sur cet hôtel où nous avons s séjourné une nuit. J'ai mis 4 mais ça vaut 3,5 réellement. 5 pour l'entrée de l'hôtel et le petit-déjeuner et 2 pour la chambre. L'extérieur de l'hôtel est magnifique, le hall d'entrée majestueux, ça fait vraiment haut de gamme! L'accueil est bon, c'est assez rapide pour récupéré les clefs de la chambre. Ensuite descente au -4 (l'accueil est au zéro et les chambres aux niveaux inférieures) changement de décor avec les couloirs, c'est ternes même si il y a une petite touche de décoration (fauteuils/tables). Ensuite la chambre, bon il va falloir rénover, c'est pas extra, la chambre est petite pour 3 avec un lit d'appoint. La salle de bain est vraiment mal agencée, trop petite. Le WC donne sur le lavabo, il n'y a pas de place, entre la baignoire, la WC, le bidet et l'énorme meuble vasque on a pas de place. Pour couronner le tout il y a des barreaux derrière la fenêtre! Le gros point positif c'est le petit déjeuner, digne du hall d'entrée. C'était fabuleux, il y a de tout en quantité, pour bien commencer une journée de ski. Un cuisinier pour faire omelettes ou Pancakes, vraiment le gros point positif. L'hôtel est bien situé sur la place, à 2 min à pied des télécabines et dispose d'un accès au parking de la station.
