The check in clerk was very rude no manners. Didn't know how to treat a guest. Argued about a 10.00 charge or wouldn't give me the room key or go somewhere else. The bathroom was in poor condition. Eoom was ok bed was a little noisybut tolerable.

It’s the only game in town. It was safe. It was clean. I’ve stayed here before. The staff is very friendly and nice. It’s just an old hotel. They have improved the rooms since last time I stayed ,which was nice. As I always say to my family , “I’ve had worse.” It’s good for a night or twos stay. No bugs, sheets were clean. Room was clean.AC worked ( which is very important in KY in the summer !!) , TV worked. Shower was hot. I was happy.

Ok But Overpriced

This is an old facility as evidenced by it's outside appearance, the very worn carpet, the stained, thread bare bed linens and bath towels. When I entered the room I had to literally plug in the refrigerator, the A/C unit and the radio/clock. The bed was comfortable and the area was quite of noise and appeared safe. There are fast food restaurants within walking & a short drive. Overall I feel the facility has it's rooms overpriced for what is offered. They should be more in the $48-$50 range.

Beds were hard, You can hear everything so you don’t sleep you so you wake upcause of all the sounds. Very out dated. Had a hole in our blankets. Room smelled like old people rooms. Towels went big enough for one person. Had a hole inside our shower. Ants in bathroom and around the sink. Bathroom floor has some weird sticky film. Probably won’t go there again.

When it's the only hotel in town, you get what you get. The room was non smoking but smelled heavily of smoke. There was a hole in the shower and the repair was using Scotch tape to reseal the cracked fiberglass. Furniture in the room was used up and needs to be replaced. The PTAC was incapable of holding a temperature with the fan coming on and off every 20 minutes.

Not great, but the only option in town

Well, I wish I could make positive comments about this hotel since it is family-owned, but I cannot. The water came out of the faucet brown. A spider ran across our bed. And there were 6 mouse traps in our room and one had caught a mouse. We told the front desk about the dead mouse and she did not react at all. Needless to say, this was our last stay here.

This motel is old and furnishings reflect the age. It has not been refurbished in a very long time, perhaps ever. Towels are paper thin and very worn. Furniture looked like something that should have been put on the curb in a college town. That said, my room was clean and I was only staying one night. Room had ancient, but clean microwave and refrigerator, but no coffee pot. The motel is located in the center of town, close to everything in a safe area. The door had no safety chain or additional locking mechanism and did not shut well, but they do have electronic keys. Heat worked well and I was comfortable for the night. If you’re going to Morganfield, it’s the only game in town and is acceptable for a brief stay if you don’t need updated amenities.

Left tired!!

The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the transaction was smooth and easy. But, We were disappointed with what we paid for. Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarette smoke. There was hair on the shower wall. We could not store cold food or beverages because the refrigerator did not work. The bed was very hard and the pillows very flat. We did not ask to go to another room. We were only there for 1 night and too tired to deal with it. We did not get a restful night's sleep.

great choice at great price

The Motel 6 was perfect after a long day of driving. We needed a bed and shower for a good price! Great service and clean room! Possible improvements - better pillows and the walls are “thin” as we heard the neighboring guest room loud and clear as they were packaging up.

A Very clean and comfortable Motel, bed, chairs, all in room Very nice. My only sadness was waking to no coffee pot in room or office. Had to go across road to gas station where coffee was just warm and ran out At half a cup.
