The entire hotel is newly renovated and caters to those that want a quiet place to stay off the beaten path. You're a 5 min drive from everything. The beach is right across the famous Hwy 1\. Embarcadero is a short drive south to shops and scenery. But this establishment is a hidden gem. Gorgeous rooms ran by a friendly family that cares. Homemade breakfasts and baked goods daily. The hospitality you get here is lacking in today's big chains. Do yourself a favor, book here. Book often. We were treated so well by every member of the staff. The rooms were super nice, very clean and spacious. We walked across the street to a nice walking trail that paralleled the beach. The best part was the breakfasts. The owners made the breakfasts and they were amazing each day. Owner Tim, came by during breakfast and chatted with us for a respectful amount of time, then remembered our names during breakfast the next day. Again, everyone was so nice and helpful. Can’t help to think that we will come back. But what makes the property so special is the warmth and friendliness of the husband and wife who own and operate it. We felt instantly at home upon meeting them. You will be the served the most delicious made-to-order breakfast you’ve ever had, you will love the home-baked cookies every evening, you will appreciate the thick and GIGANTIC bath towels, and so much more.
