Log cabin in the woods with private sleeping quarters for guests brand new bathroom. We have many decks with outdoor space to enjoy 2 picnic tables and a grill, fire pit your welcome to use. Coffee pot, small refrigerator ,toaster microwave. Hamilton College, Turning Stone Casino, Bouckville Antique show, Ray Brothers Barbque, Colgate University, Cazenovia College all a 20 minute drive or less. If your looking for some peace and quiet this is the place to stay!

Great cabin in the woods!
The property is gorgeous. The cabin was cozy and perfect. It had all the amenities we needed. The fireplace kept the cabin warm. We stayed here to visit our daughter at Colgate, which was only 10-15 minutes away. We would definitely come back.

Perfect !
We had a wonderful time! We came for Madison Bouckville antique week! This is the perfect location! 10 minutes from everything but quiet peaceful setting! Your own log cabin in a country setting! Josey and Kirk were very welcoming! They are close by for anything you need but the space is “ all yours” definitely be back!!!

We had an amazing weekend with family at this quiet cabin. Our hosts were very gracious about some last minute changes we had. They also had the loveliest puppy! Great stay and would definitely recommend.

Quiet little retreat close to Hamilton & Colgate
We found everything we needed for our visit. Coffee and Keurig supplied, a mini refrigerator and microwave, paper ware and utensils. The room is more of an efficiency, but it is divided in such a way that it's easy for one person to sleep while the other is enjoying coffee and catching up on news. The sofa in the sitting area is actually a futon, so another place to sleep if needed. The gas log Franklin stove worked quickly when the place was cool in the morning and we had no problems staying warm with the big swings of temperatures. The bathroom is small but effective, with the glassed in shower stall being very efficiently designed, even for a big folk like my husband. The water is a bit soft, so figuring out if your hair is rinsed is a challenge, but that seems to be something we find frequently in our visits to the area. We would stay again with the convenience to Colgate and the room to spread out and have our own space with peace and quiet.

Beautiful and serene cabin
Absolutely perfect weekend getaway. This was my first experience using VRBO, while I had some trouble with app not working great for a couple of days, Josey, Kirk, and Jeter were super friendly and accommodating. Great communication, the cabin was spotless and super cute. Would 100% recommend and would stay again. 5 stars all around.

Adorable log cabin
This place was so cozy and cute! Loved it. We were dropping my son off at Colgate and it was only about a 15 min ride away. I loved the Grateful Dead Bears in the driveway welcoming us! A couple of additions would have made it even better, so I would just suggest a hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, and creamers for the coffee, for future guests. But it was perfect for us and the setting was beautiful. Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Madison County
What a fantastic property this was! Josey provided exceptional communication right up to our check in, was there to greet us when we arrived even though we came in late, and everything was cleaned and ready to go for our stay. The property was immaculate, provided great seclusion and quiet for us to relax for the night, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the futon worked great for our daughter to sleep on. We could tell a lot of care was taken in preparing and presenting the property for guests, and even though we were only there for one night we had a very relaxing stay and would definitely come back here to stay again. We were headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown the next day, and at just around 1 hour from the property to the hall of fame this was the perfect location for us. Thanks for your hospitality!

We loved our little vocation at Josie's And Kirk's! Beautiful place. Extra clean! This is the first we look at. Bathroom was sparkling along with everything else. The cabin was very cozy. The hosts were very nice and easy going people with the cutest dog ever. They welcomed us and were there every time we needed something. They played with our daughter. Took her fishing, took out a pool for her, and basically let her do whatever she wanted )). She had a blast! We felt like were at home. They were such nice people that we decided to have supper with them and really enjoyed their company. We will definitely come back to visit.

Great getaway
My wife and I wanted a little getaway from the noise and responsibilities of our daily lives and found the perfect place here. Josey and Kirk were wonderful hosts and even shared their delicious cooking with us, Josey has a knack for flavors! The cabin is cozy and nicely furnished and has both AC and heat so it was comfortable no matter what the temperature was. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire and that there's lots of things to do very close to the site. We can't wait to visit again.
