“The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! ”

“Clean room, but didn’t like the shower. Lovely pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Arrived by taxi from airport only to discover that there weren’t any restaurants or bars within walking distance of the hotel. Contact with hosts via Expedia only. Would have liked the porch light on when we arrived in the dark, though. We are staying there again in a few weeks and I’m looking forward to it.”

“Room had clean bedding but a dirty floor in both main and bathroom. I checked in after front desk closed for the day. Upon informing them of the conditions, they offered to clean day after. Shower handle was broken. Impossible to shower without holding the wand in your hand. Shower is tiny. Not possible to shower, we are thin people. Dirty coffee machine. Water still inside smelled of mold. No air con in bedroom. Only a fan. Too bad they didnt even offer a different room.”

“We stayed one night before catching an early (6am) flight. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Central so easy to access the old town of Heraklion, and to find restaurants in easy walking distance. The ride to the airport was only about 11 or 12 minutes. It is central, and so there was street noise for much of the night so if you want quiet choose somewhere else.”

Understand it's all inclusive if you have that option but charging extortionate prices to push people into going all-inclusive (15 EUR for all mixed drinks) is a bit much. Felt like the complimentary bottle of wine was lacklustre and a bit cheap for it was as it was only a half bottle with served with two walnuts and some peanuts. Same with the hotel only leaving a generic Birthday card in the room was really minimal effort that it may as well……

Par contre grand balcon pour faire sécher le linge et nous avions la chance de donner sur une petite rue donc aucun bruit. Logement bien insonorisé. Pas de souci……
