“Great location, walking distance to eat, drink, the lake. Quiet especially since we were there in the off season. Nice place. The carpeting could use a deep clean or replacement as there were several stains. And one mattress also wasn’t great in the first bedroom. Parking right outside the door. ”

“Great location. Close to the park, bars, restaurants, and a gas station. World class trout fishing within minutes. Covered deck is a game changer on a rainy afternoon. We will be back every year! ”

“They greeted us when we arrived and taught us the history of the property. The cottage was a great place to stay and we loved the grill and fire pit!”

“Realized how dirty floor was when i dropped earring. Popcorn in corners of floor. I took pictures. Way toooo expensive for quality of room. Small, old, needs, updating badly. Would not recommend this room to anyone. So overpriced for quality of room. ”

“Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park.”

“The host , Charles was fantastic . He lives next door but assured us privacy the whole time. He was available when needed and accompanied us in every way. It is small but has everything you need. Bed was comfortable. We only had two cups of coffee but blamed it on ourselves as we hurried the clean to get in early. The Dollar store is just down the road and came in handy for snacks and coffee. I'm sure if we asked Charles would have brought us more coffee. It's so quiet and private. Sweet patio……
