"Staff was very nice. Outback Steak House is right next door as well as a Starbucks about a 3 minute walk. Small shopping mall right next door which you can walk. There was also a bigger mall which you could walk to or a 2 minutes drive. Also plenty of gas stations in both direction of the hotel. The hotel was being renovated and the elevator was not working but other than that, the stay was good."

"The staff was absolutely fantastic. Carmen made us feel comfortable immediately. Housekeeping was thoughtful to bring us towels since we woke up too late to call housekeeping. The only thing was the location. There was no way to see if from the highway and there were no local spots to eat close enough to walk. In the end we had family pick us up and they had trouble finding it without the gps. "

"This is not a cookie-cutter hotel in a chain. The Beachwood has well-appointed rooms with quality linens, moldings, and upholstery throughout and a well-designed restaurant. Always a pleasure to stay here. Chapel downstairs is well-worth a peek to see the antique stained glass windows."
