"The hotel has a commanding position in Wengen. The view of the mountains and valley are fantastic, and the common areas attract the guests to them. The hotel was clearly high-end decades ago, but has faded a bit. Some will find this charming, while others may not. The breakfast was excellent and should accommodate all tastes. The staff were outstanding, very personable and helpful."

The position is perfect as it is right on the train station and you do not hear the trains. Easy access to get to the attractions and supermarket acros the road as it is so expensive to eat in Switzerland when converting from Australian dollars. 9.5 out of 10 rating from us."
