The apartment was very clean, and conveniently located (closed to Naalehu, shops, bakery, market, farmers market, etcetera). We were able to do several hikes around the multiple state parks in the area, go to beach (Green Sand beach and Black Sand beach, and enjoy malasadas in the town' bakery shop. “This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. But it is easily accessed from Kona South Point and Volcanoes National Park. If we get back to the big island again, we hope to……

“It was a nice condo. Relaxing and spacious for family of 6. Everything was functional. The steep road to the condo was a surprise, but manageable. Short walk to pebble beach, with perfect sunset and a small trail along the shore. Only we didn't expect that much mosquitos in Feb. ”

“It was the perfect place for me and my husband to stay for our honeymoon. I loved hearing all the Coqui frogs at night. It was so pretty and green. The owners were very easy to get ahold of. They were very quick to help when our oven stopped working. Definitely recommend staying here for a quick trip. ”

“Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine.
