"The property was nice. The breakfast in the morning was really good. They staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. There was on maintenance issue in the bathroom. We had a room over the walkway below so it was a little noisy with all the people enjoying themselves below. It was not the big a deal. There were a lot of places close by to eat with a lot of different options. The hot springs was just a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there was a nice sitting area with lots of rock sculptures to enjoy just up from the hotel. The bus to Machu Picchu was a short walk from the hotel. I would stay there again if I ever have the chance to do so."

"Highly recommend El MaPi. Logistically convenient, a very easy walk from train station, and close to the bus station heading up Machu Pichu. Hotel has an earthy/ nature oriented feel, very relaxing. Staff are very friendly, extremely helpful. Room was nice, clean, seemed fairly new/ updated. Restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast, fun bar for after dinner. I didn’t visit the spa, but am sure it was great too."

"The room is well located close to train station and bus stop to reach Machu Picchu. Close to restaurants and bars, without the inconvenience of loud noise until late at night. We really liked the bed, the number of available plugs in the room, the consistent hot water and water pressure when showering (really not granted in Peru). The room was very clean. The stuff very friendly and knowledgeable. The only real improvement would be breakfast, little variety and no real savoury options. It would have been nice to have eggs and some meaty options, moreover considering that visiting Machu Picchu involves long days with extensive walking. We would stay again in the future!"
