The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. The property is decorated to feel like home.The village of Pendleton is a throwback in time. My sisters and I found that this home was the one we grew up in - we are now between ages 65-79\. We decided to book it and we are so glad we did! Many, many lovely changes to the home and property. It's within walking distance to downtown Pendleton and the historic Falls Park. Every element of it was absolutely delightful. From the outside it doesn’t appear very big, as we drove by it last fall. But once inside we were amazed at how spacious and well laid out it is. The downstairs master was perfect for my elderly parents and the kids and my husband and I took over the upstairs. I drank my morning coffee on the front porch swing wrapped under a quilt, read one of Brenda’s books, The Prayer Boxes (great read!), while curled under a quilt on the couch in the evenings. We spent time eating popsicles on the back porch and the kids played well in the backyard. This home is a gem, and I’m already trying to figure out how to host family here later this year. Our family is getting too big to stay with family so we found a rental for the first time and it was great. The amount thought and care put into the kitchen, you literally don't need to bring anything food and drinks.
