“Condo was dirty, bedside table door falling off, smoke alarm hanging from the ceiling, dryer vented into the bathroom, blinds were broken, was not allowed access to pool, spa, or hot tub. Upon arrival could not enter the property due to the wrong door code. I told the host the door code would not work, the message I received finally was, oh they changed the code. “Matt’s condo was wonderful! It was exactly as described & perfectly clean. My husband is very particular about having a HOT shower with good water pressure and he had no complaints (which is very rare). I could have sat on the patio all weekend and just enjoyed the view of the lake except the mosquitoes were a bit active when we were there… not Matt’s fault. This was our 1st trip to SML and we really enjoyed it. We would absolutely stay at this condo again.”

“The property decking was rotten at places and dangerous. Railing at stairs were broken and falling apart. I fell due to no leaf removal. Washer broken on arrival, blind broken next to fireplace. Cobwebs throughout property. Not impressed with property at all. Also, Bernard’s landing had a card inside to rent from them directly for 30% discount which is a problem for VRBO. I have been using VRBO for years and never this dissatisfied with a property. Definitely not impressed ”
