“We loved everything about this place. It's location was ideal! Closest to the water as you can get :) The views of the lake from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom are phenomenal! We caught a few fish and tons of down time! We truly had such a peaceful, cozy, and relaxing Thanksgiving break at the "dock home." Thanks to the owners for sharing their home with us & also for making sure our stay was spot on, communication with them was a breeze!”

“We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂”

“A magical sunrise and sunset by the lake. It was peaceful and quiet. The kids enjoyed the board games. The views from the porch is amazing. We were there for a couple of nights due to a wedding. We’re thankful for the popcorn we found as we got in later then excepted. The site is very well maintained. We hope to book there again soon.”

I did one load of laundry and noticed plumbing was duct taped together and held up by yellow electrical wire and had negative fall. “Arrived sooner than expected, people were at the home with a dog, was asked to come back later to checkin which was fine we were about 40 minutes early. Once got back noticed only had 2 beds and a couch, the reclining chair didn’t have the plug in to be able to recline it. Contacted owner stated needed to get listing updated, did offer to bring another bed. Declined offer and my daughter roomed with me. “What an amazing stay. 1790s cabin restored in the 80s. Beautiful and still had all we needed for our trip to the lake. We visited historic Bedford during the day and spent our evenings in this beautiful historic cabin. Met the owner Dave and he gave us a full tour and history. He also gave us some great suggestions for places to eat and places to get great views of the area.”
