“From start to finish this stay was easy, clean, friendly, & peaceful. The owners gave us recommendations on places to enjoy while we were there. The home itself is decorated well & obviously cleaned well. The location to lake Burton is perfect. You’re a VERY short drive to Las Padres where my family and I rented a boat and enjoyed the day on Lake Burton. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing get away. ”

In fact the name of your road is named after one of my ancestors. 200 years of our family history within 5 miles of your vacation home. The house is perfect and the view is unmatched. Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the Clayton area. You won't be disappointed.”

“Initially, we rented the cabin as it was pleasing to the eye, but when we arrived, it became so much more. We wanted quiet, away from the fireworks of the New Year celebrations and boy did this place deliver the quiet! It’s far enough away from the noise of a metropolis, but close enough to a small town for the ‘just in case’ of needing things at the local grocery store. The cabin itself was absolutely ideal! All wood interior with a spacious kitchen that a family of 4 plus could easily eat……

“We enjoyed the rear screened deck right on the river. When we arrived, however, the door code did not work. Vacasa helped me after a while on hold. Their alternate codes didn’t work, but we got an actual key from a lockbox. Inside the cabin was clean and cute. However, there was what seemed like dog hairs in the sheets of one of the upstairs beds. The upstairs area was over 80 degrees. It took the entire evening to cool it down, and in order to keep it bearable, the downstairs had to be……

“Our stay was perfect and we had such a great time. The cabin is beautiful and has all the features one would need to enjoy the stay. The privacy on the property was great for me, the kids and my dog to explore the trails that are a short hike from the cabin. The hot tub and grille were my favorites of the trip. Made for a good relaxing time at the end of the day exploring the local waterfalls, mountains and rivers. The driveway was steep and loose and required a steady throttle to leave the……
