We had a great time at the property. The people are super nice and attentive to your needs. The food was pretty good. The buffet had a variety of foods. The A le carte restaurants that we tried were El pascador (Mediterranean ) was excellent. Service was amazing, food was superb and ambiance was perfect. Le Gourmet (French ) was good but unfortunately the AC was not working and we really couldn't enjoy it due to feeling uncomfortably hot. The entertainment was AMAZING. Each night they had something for the family. There is also a casino (small) which was good. The nightclub was not good, the DJ would at times stop the music and the transitioning of the music was terrible. The rooms are outdated so if that is important to you than thos resort is not for you. We will definitely book again with Bahia in their other resorts for sure.

We had a wonderful time in Bahia La Romana. We were surprised to see how busy the place was off season, but the staff was super professional and nice and did everything to accommodate our needs. We highly recommend staying there, it's a great experience!

The resort was great for a family vacation. The biggest red flag that I didn’t know was that the beach is full of jellyfish and you will be stung couple times going in. I didn’t read that in any of the reviews before so i was surprised why nobody was in the water and found out why lol. The staff is friendly and the dining options are ok. For me the beach is a big part so if you want to swim in the ocean this is not your place. Also a lot of mosquitoes but thats like everywhere else. Overall i liked it

Impossible to make reservations at the a la carte restaurants. We booked first Bahia grand, i made restaurant reservations on the app ahead of time. Upon arrival wr upgrade to adults only part of the hotel, and my reservations disappeared, because it was a new check in, i was unable to make new reservations, because it shows tgat everything was full already and staff did not help at all with this

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed! The website is so misleading. It states that they have 6 restaurants, however, upon check-in, there was only 2 (which you can only book once for the entire stay) and a buffet restaurant with flies all over the poor quality food and swimming in the salad dressing. My ocean view room smelled like something died in there and there were dead roaches in the floor when I entered the first time. The bidet was not bolted to the ground and when I reported the concerns to the front desk, they said that there are no more rooms available at that resort, but we could move to the one next door for an additional amount each per night to stay there! 😡 also, the resort was supposed to be all inclusive, however, we were told that by the bar person that the drinks are $5 each! To make up for the nasty room, they said we can trade one of the restaurants in the resort we were staying at for the Brazilian steakhouse at the resort next door. We went to dinner and a few mins after being seated. At least 5 or 6 baby roaches were running all over the table. This place is nasty and disgusting! Such a major disappointment. DO NOT GO TO THIS DUMP!!
