Diktamos Villas brings a new style of greek hospitality and are perfect for those who love antiques, classic art pieces and would like to feel like home away from home. Cosiness, homely atmosphere and a high quality of service, all of this you will experience in Diktamos Villas.

This complex consists of four separate autonomous houses with shared garden and barbecue area and communal swimming pool. Cosiness, homely atmosphere and a high quality of service, all of this you will experience in Diktamos Villas.

These houses sit within a 1,500 m? private estate on the northern coast of Crete, near the town of Rethymnon, in the village of Atsipopoulo.
Villa Ammos is a 2 bedroom house (100 sqm), can accommodate 4 people in beds and up to 5 people.
Layout

Ground floor

Entering villa you will find an open plan area with the living room with two sofas and coffee table, fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Interior of the villa is designed in traditional style which will bring you sense of coziness and feeling of home away from home. Owner of the complex pays special attention to the small details, paintings on the wall, handmade doormats, house plants, everything is carefully thought out. WC with shower also available on this floor.

First Floor

On the first floor guests will find two bedrooms of the Villa, one with double bed (1,60 X 2,00) and built-in wardrobe, while the other one features two single beds (1,00 X 2,00). All bedrooms are air conditioned. Also on first floor is located bathroom with toilet.

Outdoor area
The outdoor area of the complex offers several facilities, shared between the villas, which include:
- A 40 m? communal swimming pool with sun beds, umbrellas and resting area
- Barbecue and outdoor dining area
- Beautiful garden with seating area
- A communal washing machine
- Each villa has it own parking space

Diktamos Villas are built almost in the center of Northern Crete in Atsipopoulo Village, 5 km from Rethymno city.

Atsipopulo is a nice suburb of Rethymnon Town, only 5 km from the city center. There is nothing that you cannot find in Atsipopoulo nowadays, as it has all kinds of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, many restaurants and services. The spot of the complex is ideal for people who want a quiet place to relax but to be close to everything. Furthermore it is a great base for making excursions around Crete as the main national road is only 2 minutes away.

The stay was lovely!! All was perfect. Very peaceful. Only it was hard to cook for a family of 5. They only had a small counter top oven.

Amazing villa
Beautiful villa in a quiet historic village near Rethymno. Wonderful host - Kostas; who asked about our preferences and suggested a 100% brilliant itinerary. The villa is very well equipped and very clean, the pool is lovely. We had a wonderful stay!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la villa Ammos: propre, bien équipée, notamment de lits confortables, entourée de jolis jardins (herbes aromatiques et arbres fruitiers) et d'une piscine commune appartenant à une propriété très bien entretenue et proche en voiture des commodités (supermarché, route d'accès aux principaux sites touristiques). Hôtes discrets mais serviables et absolument charmants. Petit bémol sur la wifi, pas très stable.

Perfekte FEWO
Eine super tolle Ferienwohnung für 4 Personen. Der Vermieter hat uns herzlich begrüßt und uns tolle Tipps für diverse Ausflüge gegeben. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und für eine Familie mit Kinder bzw zwei Paare ausreichend. Es steht eine schöne Terrasse mit Gartenmöbel zur Verfügung, diese haben wir abends sehr genossen. Der Pool liegt schön und ist sehr gepflegt. Wir haben ihn nicht genutzt, da wir jeden Tag mit dem Auto an einem anderen Strand waren. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist schön ruhig. Im Ort kann man fußläufig mehrere leckere Restaurants besuchen. Um jedoch etwas von der Insel zu sehen und auch an den Strand zu fahren, ist ein Auto notwendig. Parkplatz ist auf dem Gelände auch vorhanden. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit dort und sagen vielen lieben Dank!!!

Saubere großzügige Anlage mit guter Anbindung! Nachdem die Villa endlich gefunden war! (Leider war der Name der Villa nicht bekannt und musste erst durch einen einheimischen über die Bilder identifiziert werden…. Bitte nächstes Mal gleich in der Beschreibung erwähnen!) Danach wurden wir rund um nett umsorgt! Kostas war ständig bemüht! Auch der süße kleine Ort Atsipopoulo bietet alles was man braucht! Hervorragender Bäcker !!!!! Jederzeit wieder…

Toller Kreta Urlaub
Die Unterkunft ist sehr nett eingerichtet und verfügt über die notwendigen Dinge. Der Vermieter ist super nett und immer zu einem Gespräch bereit. Er gibt Tipps zu möglichen Ausflügen. Im Ort Atsipopoulo gibt es zwei griechische Restaurants die man auf jeden Fall besucht haben sollte. Einmal Τα σουβλάκια του Γαγάνη dort kann man a la cart essen und dann noch Ο Μανώλης, es gibt keine Karte ! Einfach fragen was aktuell angeboten wird oder in der Küche in die Töpfe schauen, wir fanden alles sehr lecker und das zu einem sehr guten Preis.

Geräumiges Ferienhaus in einem ruhigen Ort, perfekt zum runterkommen
...oder aber auch um rumzukommen, dann empfiehlt sich aber in jedem Fall ein Auto. Kostas ist ein großartiger Gastgeber und hat gute Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist tadellos und perfekt für vier Personen. Der Pool ist größer als er aus den Bildern aussieht und top in Schuss, wenn man sich zwischendurch mal abkühlen will. Katzenhasser*innen sollten vielleicht einen Bogen um das Haus machen, allen anderen können wir das nur empfehlen.

Schöner Ort der Ruhe
Sehr persönliche, nette Unterkunft in der Nähe von Rethymnon. Kleiner netter Pool und hübsche Terrasse am Haus, toll für Familien mit größeren Kindern. Lage ideal für Ausflüge über die Insel, jedoch ist ein Mietwagen unerlässlich. Der Vermieter Kostas ist das Herz der kleinen Anlage und kümmert sich um alles!

Wonderful villa close to Rethymno
The house and the entire complex is very beautifully designed and well maintained. The photos do not promise too much. The pool is not huge, but sufficient for cooling down and a highlight for the children. We were welcomed very friendly by the owner. A very nice surprise was the invitation to dinner to the restaurant Knossos, which is located in the old town of Rethymno. Even though the old town of Rethymno with its numerous restaurants and shops is in the immediate vicinity, the taverns in Atsipopoulo are also recommendable. All in all a clear recommendation for a stay in Crete.

Once again we had a wonderful stay in Villa Ammos at Diktamos Villas. The owner of the Villas is warm heartede and did everything that he could to make sure that we had good vacation. Its was almost like visiting old friends. We enjoyed the villa very much and the surroundings are picturesque.

Wir hatten eine tollen Aufenthalt bei Kostats in der Villa. Iwr würden schon vor der Ankunft gefragt ob er für uns etwas Lebensmittel besorgen soll damit wir den urlaub nicht mit einkaufen starten. Wir sind sehr spät erst angekommen und wurden trotzdem sher herlich begrüßt. Außerdem hatte uns Kostas auch noch ein leckeres Essen bereitgestellt. Auch während des Aufenthaltes konnten wie Ihn immer um Rat fragen.

Sehr lohnenswert!
Es war einfach nur schön: herzlicher Empfang (und das um Mitternacht !) mit einem Imbiss, gepflegtes Haus mit sehr nettem Personal , das einem jede Bitte erfüllt und mit Kostas als sehr hilfsbereitem und wissenskundigen Eigentümer. Hören Sie auf seine Tipps! Kostas`Frau Maria betreibt mit Familie das Restaurant Knossos in Rethymnon - unbedingt besuchen! Das Essen und die Freundlichkeit Aller sind schon etwas Besonderes. Einziges Manko für Fußballfreunde: der Satellit heißt Hotbird und deckt anscheinend das ganze arabische Spektrum ab, hält aber wenig von Berichten über die Champions League. Sie brauchen natürlich ein Auto, empfehlenswert ist auch ein Reiseführer mit Schwerpunkt über den Großraum Rethymnon einschließlich der "dazugehörenden" Südküste. Zur West- erst recht Ostküste, ist es ein wenig zu weit. In der kleinen abgeschlossenen Anlage ist es sehr ruhig. Von den anderen Gästen bekommt man wenig mit. Landesüblich bellen nachts schon mal die Hunde, wenn sie Kontakt mit einem Marder oder einer der vielen Katzen aufnehmen. Orientieren Sie sich ruhig an der Homepage - die Fotos sind zwar professionell, dennoch aber zutreffend.

Petit paradis
Quelle belle ile que la Crête, par ses montagnes impressionnantes, séparées par ses gorges profondes, pour rejoindre ses eaux cristallines ; ses petites routes sinueuses traversant ses petits villages où il est bon de s'arrêter dans une petite taverne ; ses grandes villes où il est bon de flanner en fin d'apres midi et faire du chopping. Et au milieu de cette ile, un petit coin de paradis "la villa diktamos" où l'on prend plaisir, après une longue journeée, de se reposer, de s'installer sur la terrasse au bord de la piscine pour partager un petit verre de vin blanc sous le chant des cigales, le bêlement des moutons, à regarder les accrobaties de Vanae sous le regard de Lillie. Et au loin, on entend le chant grec de Kostas, un jour poête, un jour philosophe, un jour historien, qui nous a ouvert sa porte, puis ses bras puis son coeur Merci Kostas pour avoir rendu notre sejour si agreable. Vous avez su nous recevoir comme des amis et nous faire oublier nos tracas quotidiens. Ne changez rien tout était parfait Nous vous souhaitons beaucoup de bonheur ainsi qu'à toute votre famille.
