So this was an interesting weekend. It might have involved the Coast Guard, a helicopter, and needing to be rescued, but that was the day before this was taken.

To try to salvage what was left of this trip, I had heard of a cypress swamp near Savannah. We ended up kayaking around this beautiful swamp and looking up at these mammoth trees with their roots totally exposed. The entire trip is about 8 miles, but where this was taken is a nice small paddle if you are interested.

“The location of this building is the best. We loved the layout of the apartment as well. The beds were extremely comfortable. I will warn people that due to the location of the apartment in the building (ground floor) most of the windows are street level so you will hear lots of noise from the street but we didn’t mind.
