Quiet, clean, and comfortable with great fishing for teens!

-13 and 14 year old caught lots of fish -shallow water with grass/reeds (I wouldn't swim off the dock, but kayaks would be great) -quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors -beds were all comfortable -very clean and nicely decorated -H-E-B and Rockport Beach less than 15-minute drive -can't wait to go back!!!

House was beautiful and spotless. Neighborhood was quiet, even though they were built a deck and boat house nextdoor. They never started before 8a and quit by 5p. Would highly recommend.

Girl's Trip (Old Gas That is)

Totally satisfied from initial rental to check out - everything was great, start to finish. The house was delightfully clean and well maintained. Great view of the water and easy access to places in town.

Clean and updated

This cozy house was so modern, clean, and updated. There were plenty of soft towels, comfortable beds, and perfect for 6 people. My only complaint is that there were only 4 chairs at the kitchen table so we couldn’t all sit down. The backyard had plenty of seating on the covered patio and a bench on the pier. We were able to fish at night with the 2 nightlights and underwater green light. It was a great view of the lake and peaceful with the sunset and breeze. We went to the OysterFest in town and got to fish also on Goose island. We highly recommend others to rent this house!

So serene

This cottage is quaint and has all that’s needed. The pier and outback deck area is relaxing and exactly what we wanted from our week long getaway. We were able to fish in the mornings and evenings without ever catching a fish, but that’s ok as it made for fun memories. I highly recommend this cottage.

Cute little cabin!

We had fun sitting by the water! We had trouble with one of the dock lights so we weren’t able to night fish like we had hoped. Turnkey wasn’t able to fix it during our stay but did resolve the problem by refunding us a portion of our stay. The people I spoke to on the phone were very nice. Overall, we had a great weekend at this cute little rental!!!

Beautiful House

This is one of the nicest rental properties I have stayed in. The home had every amenity one could hope for and it was absolutely spotless and well equipped for all of our needs. We enjoyed the patio immensely and absolutely loved the "big" chairs! The only complaint we had was with the check-in and check out request accommodations. We had requested an early check-in and late check out (approximately two hours). Turnkey was unable to accommodate and provided the reason of they had to allow time for housekeeping to clean. Although we certainly appreciate allowing sufficient time for cleaning (and they did a fabulous job), there were no guest checking out the day we arrived nor were there any guests checking the day we left. We felt like Turnkey was reading a script when we inquired about this rather than trying to accommodate our request. We would have understood if other guests were leaving/arriving but that was not the case. For the price we paid, it is unfortunate they were not more flexible. That said, the overall check-in process was seamless and we really enjoyed our stay.

The house is new, very clean and well set up for the most part. The BBQ was fishy from previous use and we had to replace the empty propane bottle. The house has small toilets and with the two large houses on either side has a tunnel view of the bay.
