Only issue was how hot the room was. Despite the (very old) AC that was in the unit, it was not enough to adequately cool the space - it was so hot it was hard to sleep.”

“They switched us from times square to new central but the communication was up to date and excellent! The space they put us in was fantastic. we only had 2 issues: 1. I made it apparent that there were 3 guests, but we only got one key fob. 2. Our living room table broke the first night after putting only a plate and cup on it. “The Roost is a VERY cool update on a classic Detroit property. The rooms have character with a capital C, and aren't your standard hotel space. From the moment you enter the lobby, you realize this is something quite different. Once there, you're in the heart of Detroit, with easy walking to tons of restaurants and the downtown, including Woodward, concert venues, and Comerica Park. Excellent. We'll be back. ”

“I stayed here with my son during a family visit. We loved the kitchen space and the roomy bathroom. The bed was clean and cozy. A couple of grocery stores were nearby. Commercial park is just up the street. We would stay here again. ”
