The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was well attended. The room (306) however, was really cold upon our arrival so I turned up the thermostat and also noticed a smell that could have been carpet cleaner solution. The rest of the room was clean, it was until I pulled out the sleeper sofa that we noticed a faint urine smell. As the room began to warm up a bit the urine odor got stronger. My husband and I spent the night on sleeper sofa so our grandchildren would not have to be breathing in the urine odor. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep through the night since the smell got stronger. I didn’t call the receptionist since I was told housekeeping staff left at 9pm. and switching rooms would have been a hassle since our grandchildren had already fallen asleep. I do regret my decision of just dealing with the smell through the night. Upon check out, I did inform the front desk receptionist about the urine odor, she politely apologized, however, I do hope that the room gets a deeper cleaning so to avoid any more guests deal with such issues. I’m aware that your company allows pets in the rooms and hopefully you can do a better job in making sure the rooms are clean and odor free. Thank you
