Good Stay
Location was excellent. Short walk to a beautiful but very crowded beach. Could have been the holiday weekend but if you didn’t have a spot at the beach before 8 am you were not getting one. The public portion of the beach area is pretty small but again it was so pretty. House was good. Nothing that would make me not want to stay there again but it just needs a little TLC and some attention. Kitchen had the basic necessities but was definitely missing a few things (I.e.pizza cutter, scissors, had only two small spoons to eat with, no food storage containers for left overs, etc). Screened in porch area was nice but could use a really good cleaning. Pool was nice and big but really needs some updated pool furniture. Beach towels were not provided - it’s a beach house!! Having to bring beach towels took up a lot of space. One bed was broken, there was a missing TV remote, we walked in to little ants all over the kitchen (they said they would spray but we just got any traps and were careful. Dryer only worked about 20% of the time which was frustrating. Called to get that and a smoke alarm that would beep every 30 seconds in the middle of two nights fixed but never got a return phone call so we dealt with it. Overall it is a nice house and the issues were not anything major but when it comes down to it, we spent a lot of money and probably shouldn’t have had to deal with the issues mentioned above.
