“We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Virginia Guesthouse. The hotel had opened up just the month before, and the property was very-well appointed, and immaculate. It felt like a room night should have cost at least a couple times more than I did. Added bonus, our breakfast at their restaurant was amazing.”

“The property is for sale. Expedia advertised the Lee room, where I stayed, as having a private bath. It was not private. It should not be mistaken for a B&B because it does not serve breakfast. There is a full kitchen if you bring your own food. The curtains in my room came off the rings when I pulled them closed. It's a little expensive for what you get, but if you're looking for the minimum in that area, I guess you could do worse.”

“Rich in history, excellent wine tasting experience at adjoining Pippin Hill Farms and Winery. We enjoyed feeding the chickens! The concierge folks were so helpful and nice. Beakfast every morning was delicious!”

“We stayed here for one night for a graduation at UVA. The hotel is not too far a drive from campus, so it is a convenient location. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the AC worked great, so you could adjust the room temperature however you desired. The bathrooms were clean and had hygiene products you could use if you forgot to bring them. They have a small gym next to the pool that we did not use. We enjoyed being in the indoor pool for a bit; they have towels there that you can use. We were……
