“It’s by far more dated than the pictures appear and could have used an actual cleaning. My mother stayed with us and the first night we went to Safeway to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned all surfaces and showers. That’s not something I’ve ever had to do before and I spend 75-100 days in hotels and rentals each year.”

“I have to say that working with the Cascadia Getaways team was nothing short of amazing. I did not read through the advertising and missed the part about some construction being done. I reached out to them and complained about the construction and told them they did not disclose this information, and had I known, I would not have booked. They kindly and professionally replied that it was in the marketing and there was a reminder during the check-in instructions. They were, in fact, correct. I……

“The property was great. Very clean and spacious rooms. Lots of storage and supplies. Nice view, lovely deck. The only issue we had was parking. We were supposed to have two parking spots, but the day we arrived, we were informed we could only have one. Some confusion about parking on the street, and one place we were told to park said no overnight parking. Hopefully the construction finishes soon and ends the problem.”

“I have never left a negative review, but feel that this is important enough to discuss. The seal on the refrigerator was shot and couldn't be closed properly and we had to put ice in the refrigerator to keep food cold. The master bath drain overflowed after two minutes and took about 20 minutes to drain afterwards. This is not a thing that just happens. The two parking passes were not permitted, just one. We had 6 people and towels for four. One bed had no sheets or pillowcases. Check-in at 4pm……

“I agree with a prior comment that the floor needs to be replaced. It’s pretty bad. And the coils on the stove were sticking out and we couldn’t get them back in, making it useless. Additionally, there were a lot of dishes put away that were dirty. Clean up of the condo could have been better. All in all, we really like Sand and Sea. We’ll be back but not staying in this condo!”

“It was a great unit and we love the ocean views. I did lower the rating on accuracy as we were not happy that the second bedroom didn't have a door due to interior work being done. We also didn't like the torn up wall over the fireplace. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay.”
