“Excellent accommodation, perfect for exploring the lakes. Just off the A66 with plenty of parking. I stayed 3 nights in the single room. It was warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice en-suite bathroom. Great food with vegetarian and vegan option. Very reasonably priced and friendly and helpful hosts, I would highly recommend. ”

“This hotel is in a great location, close enough to walk to center of village but still quiet. “The breakfast was superb. We tried the evening menu special which was a Pheasant breast.It wasn't the best I've tasted, it was nicely presented but it was rather salty and dry. The bed mattress provided a good nights sleep and the room was spacious and clean. Well worth the 5 stars”
