Toilet seat loose. Room we had was quite tired and in need of decoration. Bathroom was really tiny. No storage space but we were only there for one night. Breakfast was okay but not much variety. Did not like being in a seperate dining room. Bed was clean and comfortable. If I ever stayed here again I would request it was not in that room so that we at least had a proper bathroom. Bus through the village if you're thinking of an end to end walk, which we did (doesn't run in winter). The family were very attentive during breakfast times. Great location if you have your own car to explore the north lakes and hiking trails. The room doesn’t get serviced and you don’t get clean mugs for tea etc but there’s a supply of tea and coffee outside at the reception for self-service, which is great. Pub nearby for dinner and the Marina is within a short walking distance. The breakfast time is 8-9, and although that is a bit late for early activities, the family were superbly accommodating and provided us with breakfast at 07.45am so we can leave on time and go to the via ferrata. Really pleased with the service. Easy to follow instructions for checking in and ordering breakfast. Lovely that all the family are involved with very polite youngsters helping in the breakfast room.
