“The Shady Lawn Inn is a wonderful place to stay. It's in the heart of Newland, NC, a small town with a cool vibe. Shady Lawn Inn was my home for 10 days because of car trouble. Staff Kara (front desk), Maria (housekeeping) and Ms. Suzzanah (owner) were so gracious and helpful and I felt safe. Room was clean, a bit dark, comfortable bed (king) and the ac cools when needed.
