“We were not advised that this hotel was being remodeled when making the reservation. The only rooms available to us were in the very back of the hotel where we had to drive around huge shipping containers full of lord knows what, as well as workers staying in some of the rooms hanging over the rails watching your every move as you came and went at the facility. Very unnerving to my wife. We would have left but because we booked thru Expedia the hotel would not refund our money for the room. We……

“Such a homely welcoming hotel with large sized bedrooms in a quiet location with the benefit of a large indoor swimming pool. Would highly recommend. We had breakfast in the town where there are restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Blowing Rock is a charming town but if you want nightlife Boone is the place.”

“The room was very clean! The room was airtight; it turned cold overnight but our room stayed at a constant 71 degrees! I loved the rocking chairs and the porch! ”

“we had an excellent stay, the room bedding was excellent and cleaning. Also there is one separate sitting area/room which is luxury. The backyard has a patio table with chairs which is neat and peaceful. I liked it very much, it exceeded my expectation.”
