“Good for the price”

“The owners were delightful and friendly and the quant Motel charming, they have really put a lot of effort into restoring this gem. The shower head and water pressure were wonderful the beds comfy and the check in process flawless. The location is great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and very close to the kayaking tours. Only complaint is that the coffee not ready till a bit after 7, so if your an early bird like me, you need to go get some (there is Folgers’ brew sachets in the……

“Helpful staff”

“The rooms are poorly soundproofed and shaded, we got bitten by mosquitoes at night. The servers are kindly and friendly, but they don’t even sever hot water. ”

“Everything was very clean Breakfast was great for a continental breakfast! Even had French toast! :o) Bathroom could use some updating but was very clean! A+ on cleanliness and amenities! Only complaint was the AC unit in our room - the air in our room was a little cold and damp and the AC unit seemed to blow in more damp air. Luckily it wasn’t too warm out so we Ended up just turning the unit off.”

“We arrived 20 minutes to 4 and we were told we needed to come back after 4, which we did. The check-in paperwork she had me sign said 3:00. Not a big deal, just off putting. The room was clean, but the carpet was so stained, it looked dirty. Same with the bathroom flooring. New flooring would definitely be a plus in room 201. Breakfast was decent for the price point. The multitude of signage seemed a little passive aggressive. We had a decent 2 night stay, but found it underwhelming.”

“The room was clean, comfortable and large. The location was good right on hwy 2. The motel is older and could use some updates but was comfortable for our 3 day stay.”
