“The remodel of this cabin is gorgeous! The photos in the listing are accurate and authentic. The location is fantastic! It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. “We started out with one daughter and her family that live in the area. Then they went home and another daughter and her family came to stay. Because the other family lives nearby they came in for some day trips too. We loved the ease of staying, especially check in and check out. Very casual. I’d recommend this place. The location is great too. One fun thing was the comment in the listing that was something about being within sight distance of the lake. Only if you have a drone in your pocket.……

“We had such a peaceful, relaxing stay! Being surrounded by nature and having the comfort of the cabin was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful, as was the cabin itself. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked. Check-in was easy and Erika was responsive to communications when I had a couple little questions. The outdoor picnic table and Adirondack chairs were great, and we loved the boardwalk and quiet beach. So glad this stay was dog-friendly! Would stay again.”

“This property was a wonderful base camp for all of our adventures in the U.P. We also really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and personal touches as well as the back porch lakeside vibe. The only problem we encountered was with the ac unit. It was an unusually hot day for this area when we first arrived and the unit kept throwing a code.The owner was very responsive and helpful, visiting us personally to make sure everything was OK. Would recommend!!”
