“Room was great, i made use of the gym which i really appreciated that they had. Highlight was definitely the hot breakfast every morning. The hotel was very easy to get to and had conveniant stores and gas stations nearby. We were visiting family so we were coming and going all the time, but with the hotel being by so mamy main roads and ample parking, it was never an issue. It snowed heavily one day we were there and the parking lot was cleaned within 24 hours. Price is a bit more than other……

“Easy check in. The room was nice and clean but it was very cold when we arrived. It was cold outside and the heat wasn't turned on so it took quite awhile to warm up. The heat had to be on constantly to keep the room warm. It did eventually warm up. Pretty basic cold breakfast which was ok. The room price was good which is important. We'll stay again.”

The accommodations in the St. Croix Suite is spectacular, with antique furniture, in room fireplace, huge suite space, and amazing linens and decor. We appreciate the hassle-free checkin, host greeting, and the ease of parking and location to downtown. We will stay here every time we visit Stillwater.”

“Very comfortable and unique hotel. Elegant, but not snobby. Staff was very courteous and professional. It was a little confusing navigating the parking with a heavy traffic from the Snow Sculpture Festival, I was very glad I’d read the instructions closely enough to have a basic idea where I was going - it would be okay if it was explained in even a bit more detail. “I should of spent a few more dollar at one of the other hotels in the area. Everything in this place is old like the 80s, or 90s they haven't put any money into maintaining the up keep. The linings to the carpet and bed probably the original from when it open. The window in our room wasn't able to close all the way. The parking lot wasn't plowed. I was scared to go in the pool and hot tub due to the look of the entire hotel. Will never stay there again.”

“Front desk was very friendly and check in smooth. Even gave us a small welcome bag with water and a few snacks. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. A no nonsense good reasonable motel. Right on the freeway but still very quiet. ”
