“We absolutely loved staying at The Barbican Hotel. It’s in a great location, near the beach and town. We were greeted so kindly and looked after so well. Our room was fresh and bright, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful! Well cooked and presented! I can honestly say, we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming!”

“Great hotel. Beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the sea! Plus the hotel is situated right in the middle of Torquay — very good especially if you have plans to explore. Definitely looking forward to coming back.”

Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. ”
