"Great location close to station, coastal bus routes and with excellent sea views from the terrace and restaurant. Food really good - plenty of breakfast options and the restaurant meals were superb. Ask for tap water though - cost us £4.95 for bottle of still water! Pool lovely and warm. Room clean, comfortable and a good size. Really enjoyed our second stay here and would stay again."

"The hotel overall was good. Me and my wife was here for a short stay. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was lovely. We had to check out early as my wife had work to do and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I'd say could be improved here is that they can have AC put in at the hotel because it does get hot inside during hot weather"

"The cleaner was very pleasant and helpful. On the first morning she adjusted the shower unit so that the water wasn't dangerously hot. Toilet roll was not replaced one day. The bed was well made. Some dust left on the table and TV screen."

"Large clean room with sofa bed and a double bed. Small fridge and hairdryer. Large bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Shower floods bathroom everytime due to not having a door/screen to floor meaning you have to use 3 towels on floor to stop this, bad design in my opinion. Breakfast was your normal buffet restaurant, nit a lot of gluten free options avaliable, asked for some gluten free bread and was handed one small slice. Hotel close to beach, and town so great location. Not enough parking for such a large hotel we had to park miles down the road in a side road."

"This is an excellent holiday house, beautifully clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. It was a bonus to have a dedicated parking space. We found we had nice neighbours too. We hardly needed to venture anywhere because everything is so close. We had a lovely week and would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Went to Paignton for the annual Air Show and the Great western couldn't be better situated, being at the far end of the beach with everything within a few minutes walk. The room was quite large with two windows so ventilation wasn't a problem. Everything was spotless and the furniture was in good condition Along with a really comfortable bed and very pleasant, helpful owner and manager my stay couldn't have been more comfortable."
