"Exterior of the hotel a bit shabby but made up for when you enter the lobby. You can see how in years gone by this was the place to stay. Still has charm, chandeliers, colourful glass roof and huge spiral staircase. Staff were great. Proper white shirts and black waistcoat uniforms. At meal times they were everywhere. Plenty of choices at breakfast. Room had plenty of storage, bathroom was clean, bed was comfy. We had a sea view room with sliding door onto a patio with sunbeds, worth paying the extra for the sea view room."

The facilities provided are very good, with the option to prepare your own meals if you don’t want to eat out every day.It was great to have a designated off street parking space.The host was very friendly and welcoming.The only slight challenge we encountered were the stairs, which our elderly parents found a little challenging at times, especially when they were a bit tired.We particularly enjoyed feeding the ducks on the pond just down the hill from the property using the food dispenser."
