“Excellent location, next to a lovely park by the beach. Our room was spotless and we even had a little seating area outside our room.
Lovely and quiet at night. Parking was the trickiest bit in terms of getting luggage to/from the car park (a 7-8 minute walk) but we'd only gone for a night so we were able to do it all in one go.”
“It was a lovely property very close to the beach and Paignton 10 minute walk into centre. It was on a busy road which was a bit noisy at night but with the windows closed it was fine. We were provided with a fan which kept us really cool. I would recommend this place. I think it’s really nice for a breakaway owners were really helpful nice breakfast all you could ask for🙂 a big smile”
“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. ”

“Lovely guesthouse that has been updated but still has kept its beautiful character. The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. Carl & Tace kindly let me keep my wheelchair in the hallway too which really saved us having to keep putting it back in the car when going out. We also really appreciate that we were……
“The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain.”
“Nice property in a great location. The beech and pubs are only a few minutes walk away.
Needs a bit of TLC, one kitchen cupboard has come away from its adjacent unit, freezer drawers broken handles and both bathroom hand towel and toilet roll holders are loose.
The kitchen could be better equipped, e.g. needs some digital scales, some bowels better for cereal, new saucepans and a sieve.
Only one fan was provided, in a heatwave this wasn't enough - I did contact the letting agency, but had no……
